That would also make them the only two jobs that can choose from two different stat point distributions from same essential set. Paladin doesn't count on this because they don't actually have an option for the shield+sword combo. To keep things fair, they'd then need to add optional weapons (stat distributions) to every set for other jobs as well, no? Rather they stay with the staffs and if anything, give the option to glamour this wands we do have on them.
