I actually squashed seven once in a single favor. On the same day I went through a stack of five and only got seven. That's some crazy RNG if you ask me.

I absolutely hate gathering void nutts. Only 2 spawn locations in comparison to 3 from other favor mats. And the 3 of the lvl60 nodes are in close proximity to mobs.
Too much time wasted with stealth. It usually takes more favors on void nutts for me than any other favor.

You can also gather Void Nuts down at the place Birch Logs and the like are mined, in the south-east. It's much safer. That said, I think the distances are greater at the Birches, so when I go to gather Void Nuts, I have my wife pacify the groundskeepers -- with FIRE. I do the same for her when it's her turn.I absolutely hate gathering void nutts. Only 2 spawn locations in comparison to 3 from other favor mats. I got 9 Green Oids and two Green Roundstones from one Favor yesterday.
And just 2 Green Oids from the next favor.
RNGesus, he giveth with the left and taketh away with the right ...

As a botanist, favors feel like a relief after you ´ ve been teleporting over and over for scripts, folklore, unspoiled nodes or standard gathering.
I did another token's worth of favors, so five of them... my friend needed roundstones and I said I'd try and get some for her.
Ended up with:
two HQ green roundstone, one NQ green rounstone
six HQ green ooid, fifteen NQ green ooid.
Better than my last run...

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME

Red scrips need to go. Might have been a good idea but the way it is even after the nerf is horrid. I have yet to do any favors this week as my hands are still too sore from last week. I have more than one char so I do a lot of favors and feed them over to my main for crafting. Love the gear, hate the system. I have gotten I high of 8 per favor and a low of 0 per favor with an average just under 4 per favor. The rare mats, round stones are useless. If you can craft, it is not hard to make hq out of nq mats. I use to give SE feed back on what could be improved with the system in a reasonable way. Now as a rule of thumb I send them an in game complaint for every favor that yields 0 items. Over the last few weeks I have rack up a lot of 0 per favor. But it could be my fault, I am dumb enough to do this content so why would they change it. Almost done with my sets and then done with this favor system. Hours of mindless gathering for a few weekly crafts. pfffftt. Loved crafting far more in 2.0, hate the 3.0 system.
With the ilvl they say we can find in 3.1 for drops, crafting my just be down the drain unless they step it up and give us good DoW, DoM crafts that are meaningful. Not even motivated to cap eso anymore as the gear was done poorly vs the myth gear in 2.0. plus why waste time when much higher gear is around the corner. At this rate and lack of feed back, I trust in SE to f*ck up any changes to the 3.1 crafting system.

I know RNG is RNG, but.... I feel like Favor gathering has been better lately. I've been hitting the minimum 20 mats per 5 stack pretty consistently in the past few weeks. Maybe something changed?
