    no...

    How about... no
Can we as a community get off the idea that a parser is needed? I don't see them as good tools personally as there are too many variables that change at a moments notice that impact ones dps. As well as how easy they are to manipulate. DCUO had a built in parser system, it would parse (and show) each players input and output and rate them, pretty much how much damage you took how much you delt how much you was healed for, kill count, how much you healed for, crit % rate and i forget what else. What the DCUO community did with it, was everyone fought to bve the first to attack, no one did roles or worked together.

In this game you don't need a parser to tell if your not doing well, you have a battle chat log text, flying number text, as well as seeing the rate the mobs/boss hp bar drops and by how much %, you can also see other players dmg output and intake.

I personally turned off all my numbers stuff as it was screen clutter to me, what i do is check my hits to how much the mob/boss hp drops (not something hard to do), compare it to each party members output (again not hard to do) and check the % of each mob/boss hp. If i notice i barely take out the mobs/boss hp and his hp% is droping to slow i adjest my gear, food, playstyle. I also ask my fc/group how i did, and ask for tips for improvement at the end of runs.

this is how gaming has been since the invention of the health bar.

I'm all for a private parser just to use for self-improvement, but the rest of your suggestion is ridiculous. I know a few people who don't run combat content and spend most of their time crafting-- would you charge them more just because they never bothered to gear up their combat classes? What about people who main healers or tanks or support classes, whose contribution to a raid is often measured differently than their raw DPS?

I don't like the idea because it involves real money.
I do love the part about penalizing people who are rubbish at dps and perhaps ruin stuff for their group <3

Damn. I thought this was going to be a discussion on ability bloat.

4/10 on troll thread, though. Pay wall makes it too obvious. Better luck next time, OP.

    tl;dr

just learn your job correctly and try instead of being lazy and wanting to just get carried through 99% of content (okay, more like 75%.)

Worse than paying $25 a month for FFXIV huh? I really see no reason to oppose a group parser in BisEX+ content unless you're one of those who like to leech off the efforts of others.

    ....

Tell me more about this Remove Cast Bar from Bard/Machinist idea? Sounds reasonable compared with this One.

I still think this game needs to drop DPS checks for insta wipe, let them fight with lower DPS, the fight gonna be longer and people will need TP and MP and finally Bards and Machinist can be wanted xD.
