Went to Expert Roulette with my summoner friend. We got a great Warrior tank and what seemed to be a great DRG. He played well until the last boss of Fractal and... MY GOD.

He managed to get 3 stacks of vulnerability up, made me spend ALL my Tetra cooldowns on him AND Benediction to keep him alive. Didn't attack adds, didn't dodge the glowing floor, stepped on landmines, ran away from me when targeted with the bomb... I hope that was him trolling, because that's the only explanation for someone who played perfectly until the last boss to do these things.

First pull of neverreap, the well geared pld grabbed all. He was tanky enough that I safely got all dots up, banes, and shadow flared. Too bad he then said "My God." and dced. Instant chaos, though somehow none of us died.

The one dps suggested maybe he lagged and would be back, so we continued on (drg and blm, me on sch). After we killed the first boss, we kicked the still offline tank and the drg dropped out and rejoined on his pld. Got a nin right away and we finished without issues.

Kicked from a roulette for dpsing, despite no one dieing. Smn started spamming cure on tank halfway through and began harassing me saying I should keep tank hp max at all times.

As a tank, I would've told the SMN to leave you alone and start deathflaring some shit. I don't care if a healer lets my hp drop to terrifyingly low levels as long as they're actually pushing DPS. If worst comes to worst, I have Hallowed Ground and Clemency. If I still die, well, hopefully the DPS take a few of the mobs down with them or manage to kite them till I can get back.

I don't get people that don't want the healer to DPS. Why do you hate dungeons going faster?

It was only a low level run in brayflox, tank stoneskinned I dot'd all mobs giving enough time for aoe hate to be eestablished, cleric off regen tank cleric on dps dps dps till tank 20-25% essential thingy whatever asts main heal is then either refresh regen depending on remaining mobs then dps dps dps.

Regen timed so it didn't stay on while mobs all dead, I would also time a stoneskin to land on tank as final mob dies

Dropping out of clerics for normal heals at 35-40% hp if insta heal wasn't available, not to mention lightspeed was on standby if I got too trigger happy

It's then halfway through trash to 2nd boss the smn began, frustrating to be playing optimum and be kicked for it.

While there can be many opinions of speed runs, I'd say actual speed run and healer damaging on healing downtime are different matters which can coincide or not.

Me, was healing Tam Tara on my scholar and, well, I have CS on the first cross class slot. Tank was about "Protect?" Told them to trust me ,not needing it. Pointed out that even if my fairy heals alone she still has downtime.

Been trying to do A4 for hours today to get my last shaft for my casting chest.

Ran into a WHM who refused to AoE heal, the only healing they did was throwing Regen on everyone one at a time every 21 seconds. I told them that if they feel like they need to Regen more than 2-3 people, they should just throw up Medica II.

I died to Nisi + 3 tethers. Everyone was at full HP. Watched this guy put Regens on everyone as they slowly started to die and then run around in circles until he too died.

Instead of kicking him, everyone bitched and then disbanded.

Not really a horror story, but I'm still lauging about it.

We were fighting the second boss on Brayflox NM (PuG.) We'd killed the Biast and the Drake was on about 40% when I saw the Machinist running around like he was kiting something. I didn't understand why since we'd already killed the add, until I saw Brayflox chasing after him going "gobbie has present for kindly uplander! shokh!" He spent the whole second half of the fight running away from Brayflox.

When I told him afterwards he didn't need to run away, he said "yeah you do or the goblin blus you up." I said Brayflox doesn't do that and he went "ok you don't know the strat cya f*cking noob" and rage quit.

Could possibly be left over from when he first played and no one has corrected him? He may be under the assumption that getting the mines and such are saving the group? But who knows really, could be anything. I know my healing abilities drop when I am trying to talk to my niece as I play. xD

So I went into A1 a day or so ago too do my weekly run. I am a whitemage(ilvl176) noticed there was another whitemage(ilvl190) in the group. Faust goes down no problem everything seems too be good on the healing end. Then we get too the boss and a couple of minutes into the fight I notice my fellow healers mana bar is still full, I also notice that the only thing they are casting is Medica 2 and regen..get where this is going. This is all good and fine for first part of the fight, until .5 enters the frey. Now I am healing both tanks and the group including the other healer, while they continue to do nothing but medica 2 and regen, they don't even dps they just stand there. continues next post-
