Doesn't make sense to me unless they "become" a mount. We don't fly our mounts do so it wouldn't really look right to me having wings while riding a winged mount: flying around like a biplane after a stroke with only 2/4 wings flapping lol

Of course if you were riding a mount, they would go away for the meantime, same like minions once your mount is summoned Except perhaps with non-flying mounts, would love to see my wings spread while going the distance on a lion for example ^^
