I actually dont want Uematsu to do all the music for XIV. When the game actually starts making revenue it would be nice if they can get different composers to expansions and stuff. I'd like them to consider Yuki Kajiura~

Or Yoko Kanno. The music she wrote for Ragnarok Online 2 is excellent.
Or...dare I say it...Yasunori Mitsuda. Good luck with that, though.
But this brings up a good point. Wouldn't it be cool to have different composers with different musical styles to differentiate the expansion packs?
Definitely! Or have composers make music for styles they excel in i.e. someone who is great at battle themes, cutscene themes, field themes, etcOr Yoko Kanno. The music she wrote for Ragnarok Online 2 is excellent.

Whoever did the rock remix battle music for FF7: Advent Children DEFENITELY has to do the battle music, that stuff gets my adrenaline pumping every time I hear it!

Linkables 2
I'll always remember the first time I heard this tune <3
Heard the Miku version earlier this year and sat around for a couple of minutes thinking "I've heard that somewhere... and wherever it was I was having a great time whilst listening to it..." then it dawned on me it was from Ragnarok Online!
30 minutes later I was running around stabbing porings on good ol' Ragnarok again XD

Yasunori Mitsuda composing for Final Fantasy game would be the second best thing to ever happen. Michiko Naruke would be the first.Or Yoko Kanno. The music she wrote for Ragnarok Online 2 is excellent.

I agree and disagree. I would like there to be different composers but I could see the argument for wanting to keep the one composer. It starts to turn into a comic books storyline in a sense.Or Yoko Kanno. The music she wrote for Ragnarok Online 2 is excellent.
