You could play warrior, it's like a venus fly trap for melee dps. Though if you want to be safe while doing some of the best damage in pvp, then smn is the way to go.

In terms of helping the team. SMN is good when you need to switch when you only have 1 or 2 healers out of 24. Warrior is also good if they are timing the cool downs right for support. In a huge scrum a warrior can really make a difference. I find the HP buff to be more beneficial then the def buff from plds. Monks are great for killing schs. You know the aoe knockback from sch is the perfect range for shoulder tackle stun.

It really depends on what you enjoy. Comfortable managing and what you want to contribute to the team. Everyone brings some positives and in an evenly matched fight with equal skill level no job is truly useless. As much as people complain about balance, in a pure 8 VS 8 fight no class is truly a one man wrecking machine.

I would be one of the 2 players you were calling noob for questioning your gear. Though you might have forgotten because of those other "noob" and his caps spam. I think Tiax is trying to show you you should think before calling players noob .

I don't get what the problem is, just wear you pve gear and you will have secondary stats. As for why I care about my teammates gear, I play to win and every little bit helps. But yeah skill > gear.

As for damage in pvp, TRY WHM!! xD You can pull out decent numbers if you try, all while healing. You often wont get much kills, aside from the ones you get by killing those who chase you. Lure them over to a hill, push them off and finish them with a few stone III ez kill.

Well, my post has been removed for some reason, so I'll just summerize it here.
I had no DRG pve Gear, as i do WHM usually, but I am on a healing strike and I want kills, when there are no healers in my team, you will see me on WHM (usually). Anyways, that screenshot of my terrible performance is completely out of context. I joined in progress, for one. Second factor was, after being insulted, I went AFK, telling my team and asking them to kick me, which they said no to. I did not want to participate in a win with keyboard warriors from the comment section of youtube. Maybe it wasn't the wisest of choices, and it bites me in the ass now, but that is what happened. And if you did feel, like the noob comment (also the only time in that whole discussion that i did) was directed to you, well sorry, I wasn't talking to you. The only thing you said in the whole alliance chat in that game, was "Go back then" and "xD".

And since we are in the suggestion times, before criticising people, I suggest you look at their previous performances instead of being a douchebag in Alliance chat, which does not help.

This is 24man seize, if you que in the morning you can get these pretty often.
