This makes no sense. The current system is so easy to understand. Say they make it one Prism, the price for it will jump and then people will complain about the prices because it's all a universal prism now.

I know we gotta wait til Nov 10 for the next patch but please stop with nonsensible requests like this because all it does is make English Forums look more simple and narrow minded then we are already perceived to be.

I'd like to see the materials being the same, just have 1 "clear prism" instead of 5 different ones.

Easy to understand, sure. Needlessly complex? Most definitely. Not only do I have to check what type of prisms I'll need for each piece, but I have to check the grade. When I'm glamouring a glamour set that comes down to 3+ different types of prisms that I have to check and pick out for absolutely no reason. Need 2 Grade 3 Cloth Prisms and 1 Grade 2 prisms, sometimes I even end up buying 2 Grade 2s and 1 Grade 3. As I said, needless complication.

And please, don't speak like the Japanese community thinks of us like babbling idiots, I've met a few Japanese people who speak English that also share many of the same concerns I have for the game, and that includes the needless complication with glamour prisms. This system is the definition of needless complication.

By making various grades they create scarcity, thus giving glamour prisms value, giving players incentive to go out of their way to provide goods and services.

Also I never said JP so please be mindful that there are other nationalities also playing this game. It's not always about JP.

I think everyone saw what you did there.

I'm aware of that, I mentioned both their grade and type (Cloth) in my post, so that should let you know onto that. But how is that like saying a Weaver should be able to make Armourer crafts exactly? I just want one universal glamour prism, it could even cost 5k ea. for all I cared (sometimes I end up spending that much on one prism because no one is selling only 1). If we couldn't have that, remove the grading system or the different types of prisms and keep the grading system. One or the other I say, no need to have 30+ different types of prisms. As for the prisms that drop from dungeons, it seems like they're never the ones I actually need if I even get them as a drop so I don't see why you brought that up. Each dungeon drops what, 1-3 of them? Okay, you got lucky and won 1 and that's still one out of 35.

Alright, my bad. I guess the German and French think of us as simple and narrow minded too then.

...and that's also a great thing to clutter up our extremely limited inventory, indeed! Because we don't have enough items to do that without different graded glamour prisms anyway, and a cluttered up inventory is an awesome thing to have! <- Just a side-point to the main subject here, which is grading is unnecessary. And to the underlying fact of the game's glamour system being extremely ancient and cumbersome.

Nobody says a Weaver should be able to make prisms for, say, swords (though the fact that some stone roof is desnythable by WVR of all things does beg the questioning of the whole class differentiation when it comes to glamours too); but yes, one glamour prism per DoH class would be much more sensible, for more reasons than one.

We know what they do, the argument is that the end doesn't justify the means. There are other ways supplement crafters and the economy without this needless layer of complexity.

i'd say get rid of the types and keep the grades. prisms for level groups and not craft types makes sense to me and wouldn't utterly destroy the market.

Who cares if they can? It's a glamour item. They're not making the clothing/weapons; they're just making the reagent for someone to change their clothing/weapon's appearance.

This whole grade and type system is ridiculous.
