The issue is that SE took a double-oGCD-weave job and stuck a cast time on their weaponskills, but I see that you don't even have ARC high enough to have gotten River of Blood.
Go read some of the other threads (there are plenty) on this subject, ffs.

I think he is there because shit happens... and people love the class... the normal formation is 2 Melee, 2 ranged ( one physical and one magical)
this still happens, raid groups seeks BRD because of their songs... I know.. just 3... but they are awesome... if you put a damaging song just like Ballad or foe... people will use this song because they need to do more dps,
my friend play as bard... he is more or less the same ilv from the rest of his party... he is doing almost the same damage as the monk, and they are clearing A1 and A2 just fine.. so...

I know my bard is not lvl 60... but I'm leveling up my machinist right now... but I will level up my bard with the same mind that I wont do as much dps as any other class, because... if shit happens... I'll be there to help

'bad' and 'hate' are both somewhat loaded words. But in terms of performance, utility, and so on and so forth, I don't hate bard or think it's bad and I don't think many people do at all (Aside from what one General Discussion post, but that's DF being the DF, which bad players are encountered on all jobs).
My personal problem with WM: If I wanted that caster playstyle, those options were already available on SMN and BLM and built into MCH more naturally. Conversely, the 2.0 BRD playstyle does not exist in game anymore.
You can, of course, say 'just don't play bard then'... and I don't anymore. *shrug* Now, people that mained BRDs were far more attached (I know at least 1 who unsubbed and heard of many others), so they had even less appreciate for changing the playstyle of the class.
I mean, imagine if Warrior was made to play more like Paladin. It wouldn't lose any DPS, tanking effectiveness, etc etc. Just change the playstyle to be very similar to PLD. I'm sure you can imagine... they would not be pleased. (Some people would love it though).

come on... people are leaving their beloved jobs and I don't see why... I saw tons of threads complaining about skill X and skill Y ... I'm actually sad with this... just like Paladins saying they don't have dps to do Savage and I saw a PLD clearing A4...

Then what is there left to discuss?
I was only attempting to explain why some players don't like the change; if you don't see why, there is no point in discussion. Just ignore the complaint threads and keep playing what you enjoy.

I actually understand this... but if you look the cast as a good stuff to the class...you are aiming... you are checking where is the best spot to hit...you can just turn off WM if you need to stay like 10/15 segs running to do something... this dance switch is what will make me level up my bard after my machinist... I'm just leveling up my machinist to do a Ocelot (from Metal gear series) cosplay kkkk
why you think something that benefits the class ruined it?

Of course. And there's a proc that makes Straight Shot instant, and as already mentioned, the cast times are short enough to allow easy stutter stepping...
However, some people just don't want to play casters. It's not their taste. BRD filled a niche that is no longer serviced.

OMFG dude, it's been explained here as well as a million other threads. People are pissed because the playstyle that bard was known for was completely reworked instead of built up on. It's not that difficult to understand. Let's say you're a big fan of chess and all of a sudden, one day you went to play chess and all of the chess pieces were Monopoly pieces instead. And the chessboard was a Monopoly board. And the money in your wallet was Monopoly money. That's why people are upset, they played bard for a very particular playstyle and now it's completely different. You can't just not use WM and remain viable either.
