Bad players will be bad no matter what their ilvl is.

In all fairness, give the game real time movement tracking like WoW or Rift and much of the "badness" would drastically vanish.

In my experience pre-heavansward I could clear titan-ex in 4/5 PUG parties. However, after Heavansward the odds are more 1/5. I think its the influx of new players. When I check them they are usually wearing dungeon i90 gears. Idk why they just don't buy the 115 gears from MB at the very least...

All in all, i really love the titan fight! But for some people(They claim =P) latency is a big issue haha.

It's not lag. Weight of the Land is simply a fast cast. You need to start moving as soon as that bar shows up. Not a second after. But it's really no problem if you're late. As long as you're not late when 3+ of them are stacked.

Still can't get Titan to give me a pony - however I expect some groups to fail when going DF for Titan.
What has shocked me recently is the amount of players who can't seem to get a clear on Garuda. I have a better clear rate on Ramuh and Titan using DF then on Garuda since Heavensward.

I think Garuda is preventing majority of the bad players to progress to Titan etc yet.

It's not lag. Weight of the Land is simply a fast cast. You need to start moving as soon as that bar shows up. Not a second after. But it's really no problem if you're late. As long as you're not late when 3+ of them are stacked.

If you're a ranged or a caster and you're having issues dodging Weights, you can position yourself about one Weight's length behind the rest of the group. You'll still be baiting Landslides in the right direction, but that way, if you don't get out of a Weight in time, you'll only get hit by one instead of the entire stack.

I ran titan hm the other day for trial roulette. Granted wasn't unsynced... but after titans heart, there was only 4 people left. Me (dps), tank, healer n another dps. Everyone else died. The only time I took dmg was stomps... I would figure by now people would have it down. Guess not. Lol

That's for the HQ version. NQ is cheap at the vendors and even on MB.

Besides, not hard to make money. Here's just one quick way to do it:

Get your 2 free retainers at max level. Look at the market board and see what sells often and start sending them on hunts every hour you can. You'll easily make 100k a day.

Just had a group last night wipe on Titan HM. It was sad...

2 people knocked off to landslide
3 people dying to every bomb combo and Weight of the Land
OT refused to remove his tank stance

Then I get flak for not raising the other healer. "I can solo heal this, I'd raise him but I'd be wasting MP watching him die to the next set of bombs every time. My MP is better saved for the DPS who die every bomb phase, at least they can squeeze in damage and free Gaol targets between dying."

Glad to know I'm not the only one who's been carrying Titan hm lately. Running for light the other day and literally all of the deeps died. One went as far as to say we should just wipe it with no dps up so I dropped everything and carried harder (War deeps ftw). I think it was just me and a blm that got raised in the end.
