Please do something about the spam.

Sending the same replies to harassment reports as a year ago leads me to believe SE doesn't care.

It's so much worse now.

They've done quite a bit in the last year to combat gil spam. They not only really jumped on players who were spamming in shout and yell, but they made it so that they can't send tells or spam friend invites anymore. The only time I see them is in one of the 3 main cities and they've become restricted to using Say which has a 50ft distance or something. Heck, due to the requirement to even enter Heavensward content I have seen absolutely no gil spammers in Ishgard or Idyllshire which is awesome. Just stick with actually progressing through the game and trust me when I say it becomes almost non-existant at a certain point.

Really?! I've been back less than a month and my blacklist is full... I have received 4 tells in the last hour of play...

Maybe they aren't working on Gilgamesh yet?

Maybe Gilgamesh is just more densely populated with them than Shiva. EU servers ftw?

Even while in HW areas, I get spam all the time here on Exodus. D;
I end up just switching my status to busy just to stop it.
Just today, before I switched to busy, I had 4 bots spam me back-to-back, each from a different RMT-site. ;A;
I seem to get it more spam whenever I am leveling, so maybe they are targeting lower level characters?

They do this, cause the chances of catching someone completely new to the game and MMOs in general is higher. Thus, more gullible. =\

Yeah definitely. Maybe on some servers they might have it under control, but on Lamia I get like at least 10 gil spammers a day via tell.
