Titan EX Still ruining Lives somehow.... Silly rant

So I have gotten on the pony band wagon again after the great disappointment that was farming for them before unsynced was a thing. XD

For the most part, farming has been a breeze while unsynced. (Garuda ex with all tanks and a DPS is hilarious)

But Titan.....Oh Titan...... Still shaving off years of peoples lives I see....

Honestly, the fight isn't all that bad even synced now, with the Ilvls we have available, but you would think that running it unsynced, getting that pony would be all too easy. Well Apparently, you thought wrong.

There are two scenarios I have run into with this. 1: The party lined up just can't get on the same page and we end up disbanding because we can't even get a clear OR 2: The team is amazing and we are clearing Titan every 5 minutes (give or take) and the bugger won't drop his dang pony!

Sadly, the first of the two issues is still the more prevalent one. Usually if there isn't a clear after the second attempt, people leave, regardless of any progression. I can't say I blame them. I have been farming this bugger for quite a while with no success on a pony drop and on the one time it did drop during the amazing party runs, I rolled a ONE on it. Like SERIOUSLY?! A one........ I didn't even stand a chance. XD (Guess it isn't much worse than getting one less than the person who got it though :P) So I wouldn't want to waste time in a "bad" Party either.

Oh Titan, when will you learn that I care not for your earrings and your fancy jewelry, all I want is for you to poop out a horse!

In someway it just shows how some people do not deserve the unsynced pony's. I get unsynced for progression for newer people. But pony's and stuff it feels kinda cheap since myself and alot of other people did it the hard way. But that happens with older content it gets easier i suppose
May i add, titan cost me over 100+ wins to finally get the pony. Ramuh on the otherhand i had it on the first drop(Long live the RNG)

But no. Same goes with moogle ex. Was doing a unsynced party for a friend, and people just couldn't get through their head they should not touch the whm/blm untill they cast to interrupt. Its just so annoying at times XD
All in all, i really love the titan fight! But for some people(They claim =P) latency is a big issue haha.

Anyways keep on rocking till titan stops knocking =P

In my experience pre-heavansward I could clear titan-ex in 4/5 PUG parties. However, after Heavansward the odds are more 1/5. I think its the influx of new players. When I check them they are usually wearing dungeon i90 gears. Idk why they just don't buy the 115 gears from MB at the very least...

get a friend and duo it (tank + heal), it still takes only 5 minutes and you only have to get 2 ponies

a heal with vit accessories can survive the gaol explosion, which deals about 13k dmg without shields, same for the tank

I ran Titan ex the "right way" so many times before the new content but had no luck just the same. I don't have the exact numbers but I am sure it is in the same realm as yours. lol I don't know if this makes me deserving of a pony, or not, but the blood sweat and tears are real. XD

As far as moogle goes, I refuse to do that one unsynced unless I know my party very well. That fight is just too touchy for it. I have run into that very same issue with the BLM and WHM moogles though. XD It is so frustrating and similar to trying to communicate the wind and water debuffs on Bismark EX. lol

haha yeah for sure, i mean titan was a nightmare. had groups that cleared em without mistakes and had groups that couldn't dodge a single landslide(So called farm group ny ass xD!) But that goes for every primal i guess. The most irritation i had was garuda for sure. *Starts* *Explain tactics* *repeatedly remind people DO NOT TOUCH SPINY!* *Spiny spawns* *mark IGNORE* *Spiny dies!* lé sigh. I give up!

Haha, No but seriously. Moogle is a pain in the ass, and as far as bismark goes... lets just say i leveled up my DRG to 60 and geared it almost up to full 190 to get that clear(just dinged 60 last night) Cause for the hell of it, not a single party i've been in is able to clear the DPS check past phase2. Wether its unlucky or just rolled some bad people in my tries, i don't know. But i'm gonna do my very best to clear is now :P

And I learned that the last week. XD I got my pony from ramuh at least though. XP Still, getting players to be on the same page in ramuh is one big pain a lot of the time. XD
