Do you pay a monthly fee to be angry at people?

I went in as tank in a JAPANESE trial roulette, of all things; it was in-progress Steps of Faith. Not even a minute in, the only person to speak English in the party chat said this:

<other tank> I hope you all consider uninstalling.

While the other party members, who were all Japanese (because, you know, we ticked J because we can actually read and speak it), were discussing how to deal with the duty that they had also just dropped in on.

Mind-boggling, really.

I'm on Siren and I rarely see these vile players on this data center. Don't get me wrong, I've met some memorable assholes, too, but it makes me wonder if some players misinterpret indifference or kurtness as anger.

Don't spank your kids people, they will hit their siblings. Take away their video games and electronics, They hate that (laughs evilly Muwahahhahahah!) Oh! I remember when my father dropped me off at school dressed as a clown and walked with me to the school doors.... (still cries himself to sleep)

Some kids DO need a spanking, especially with how many today act so crass towards their own kin and think nothing of it.

So you are saying this is only a one sided case? in a 8 man boss fight, the 1 person can be wasting 7 other peoples time and also their money, thats just as rude, things are never one way only.

The 7 people having their time wasted are also people, no consideration given to them at all I see.

So, when someone is being rude because they do mistake (according to you), the logical thing to do is being rude to them?
And that's not what I meant at all anyway.

I mean rude people that immediately have to rage about 1 mistake made. People that are rude to new people because they are new. People that are unfriendly because someone likes to do smileys. Those kind of people.

And if you expect to have everything go smoothly, then give advice to people instead of being rude and rage at them. Raging at them won't help, but will even hinder the progress more, since they will most likely do even more errors when you rage at them.
If you give advice instead, people will maybe improve instead and your "wasted time" will decrease.

What's with all the xenophobia? Why act like Japanese (or any other country except America) players are some kind of holy vessels when they have problems all their own? In XI racism was rampant because there were no separation between NA and JP servers, so you'd see a ton of JP ONLY groups or Japanese flat out refusing to play with Americans (even if said American spoke Japanese) purely due to segregation. I know that was XI and this is XIV, but the point still stands that I deeply believe you're putting on blinders when it comes to how similar both groups deal with each other.

I do agree that Japan has a different mindset about teamwork, but I disagree that the NA community is nearly as bad as some make it out to be.

But really tho... I avoid NA servers like someone with AIDS. lol... Some people on there take 指示厨 (shijichu: childish & annoying) to a whole other level: 童貞乙 (doutei otsu: super-obese forever-alone neck-bearded kissless virgin master race). lol ... They have every reason to be angry. lol

If I ever came across someone being angry and all that over a video game, I just imagine the image that phase brings to mind ...and laugh... really really hard.

But really, I can't take irate and angry people in a video game seriously. It's just too pathetic; it's comical.

You do a great job, dodge everything and in the end: "You rolled a 1" while some1, who died alot and wasnt there 100x like you for an item roll a 99!

Because, they don't take it out on their fellow gamers. That's the difference. When A Japanese person gets genuinely angry, they will get very quiet. The angrier they get, the quieter they become.
