I feel like I am getting discriminated as a role-player. Not a day goes by without me dying at least once in dungeons or thrash pulls in Alex because of my character's name...

Cause of death is always:

1) Healer too busy typing out a paragraph while in middle of a pull
2) Healer asking for autograph and/or screenshot
3) Because I have to "die" at least once

Along similar lines, had a tank in Dusk Vigil with the i55 GC weapon. >_< They had the i115 equipment from the quests but hadn't found the marketplace. I think the dps was holding back (with i110) because the tank held aggro but the whole thing was really really slowwwwwwwww. Protect wore off before getting to the second boss.

So... I'm kiting, raise sch, kite, raise other tank, kite, sch dies, kite, raise sch again, kite, raise monk, kite, sch dies, kite and gives up on sch, raise other DDs, kite, some other DDs die again, kite, and this goes on for 15 min until i got interrupted on a cure2 and dies and we finally wiped...

Once you realize that raising your co-healer is pointless during a raid, a part of your soul dies. ;_;

Played as a SCH in Brayflox while doing leveling roulette. Party was filled with 3 other sprouts. Despite tank losing aggro a few times on first boss and a couple trash the run was generally smooth. Upon tanking the boss both dps was dpsing in front of Aiatar for some reason. Only until all 3 of them got hit by Dragon Breath's and inflicted with those stacks of poison ...




I died of a heart attack as a SCH that night

Ran Expert as SCH the other night with a PLD, DRG, and MCH. Got Neverreap.

I notice early on that the PLD stops attacking occasionally to cast Clemency for no reason. At first I assume he's panicking because I let him get around half HP until I swap back out of CS to top him off and resume DPS. I make a reassuring joke about taking care of him and keep going.

He continues to do this throughout the dungeon. I've ripped aggro from him a couple of times by keeping up DoTs and focusing Broil. I suggest to him that he's going to keep losing aggro if he keeps casting Clemency instead of throwing out more enmity combos or Flashes. He responds that healing generates enmity...I just tell him it's not enough enmity compared to his other tools, and I let it drop.

At the final boss the MCH gets blown off the platform at the first push-back AoE. Later on the DRG does the same, leaving me and the Clemency tank to duo 50% of the annoying boss' HP bar.

Final tally: Top DPS for overall dungeon run and for most encounters = SCH.

I worked hard for the esos.

Yeah T_T At least these days you can use Selene's party-wide cleanse, but before HW? I really don't like those dungeons that have a strict "No Leeches! :C" policy.
