That's honestly my current biggest gripe about the game but on the other hand, having 5 classes rolling on STR gear is a bit much. Fortunately the new thing is token systems so I can still pick up STR gear fairly easily.

I agree. SE needs to address the reality of how we are gearing now and if they are ok with us as using STR (which it seems they are) then get rid of the useless stat altogether in favor of STR or make VIT actually a useful thing for tanks to stack. Intuitively tanks are going to wear the gear that is designed specifically for them and they won't know to wear STR instead unless someone tells them or they look on forums and see threads like this. It's a huge problem that our actual gear is so useless to us.
