That's not wasting Aetherflow stacks. Using Aetherflow when you have stacks so they just get written over with new stacks is wasting them. Using Aetherflow stacks for Lustrate is most definitely not a waste. Besides, we have Emergency Tactics + Adloquium now too.

    Whatever, your right!

It is definately not a waste to wait until my tanks almost dead doing nothing else and then using 3 lustrates to bring him back up.

Oh right, I forgot. Healers don't DPS or anything. They just stand there with their thumbs up their bums. In any case, it generally takes one Lustrate to get the tank to a "safe" hp level for casting Physick or Adloquium. Maybe two if they're still taking sustained damage. I can't think of the last time I had to dump all three Lustrates on a tank to fill their HP bar.

And I never said he did, either =) Usually I saw one, maybe two lustrates, the rest was through physick or adlo. Until I was at around 90% or so.
He's not a troll healer. He's a good healer. I trust him to not let me drop to 0, even when he gambles with my life.

I'm the healer-buddy Noxifer was referring to, so I thought i'd chime in \o/ While I'm not above trolling from time to time, this isn't one of those times. As a SCH, I try to put down a barrage of DoTs and tie it off with a nice bane. I throw up a stoneskin and an adloquium immediately after the last mob of the previous group dies, so that buys me some time when jumping in to the next group. It takes about 10 seconds to put up shadow flare, bio ii, miasma, bio + a bane, and if there are multiple groups of mobs i'm not always able to finish that little routine before the tank needs some TLH (tender-loving-heals).

Since we all love a good thrill, sometimes I err on the side of getting that last DoT in before I drop cleric stance =D Hence the exciting moments that Noxifer was referring to. Lustrate is a great instant heal so it affords you a little bit of recklessness as a SCH. Surprisingly, I hardly ever lose a tank, and when I do, it is pretty much always Selene's fault. Then again, maybe a wipe shouldn't be the embarrassing shame-fest that some people seem to think it is, especially when pushing the limits can be fun.

Right? I wipe more often than you'd think with friends because I feel safe enough to try insane pulls with them.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes the Bard runs screaming through the dungeon with a bunch of birds trying to eat his face.

That's the kind of spirit I enjoy! \o/ Aside from being worth it for the fun of it, pushing the limits also makes you a better player, the hardest content in the game require that both the tanks and the healers give as much extra DPS as they can. Might as well get practice!
