again since the airship ride is in fact shallow, superficial, and trivial the question still stands.

Is it complex to you? waiting is not complex. So nothin in fact was dumbed down. It was just made faster.

Airship ride is just that, it's irrelevant how you perceive it as you described it above, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. That's not the topic of our argument. It's about dumbing it down even further, and certainly, it is being dumbed down with this insta port implementation because while it is named Airship, it is in reality a teleport.
As an Airship, it is being trivialized, made frivolous and superficial. The very essence and meaning behind the Airship ride isn't being met. Instead, it's a port in disguise.

Saying it was made faster isn't an accurate description. In reality, it was removed all together, there is no Airship ride at all now and as a result it wasn't just made faster, it was made instant.

As for complexity, although i wouldn't go as far as labeling an Airship ride complex, though it is certainly more complex to follow a flight schedule and follow some procedure of riding the Airship, instead of talk to npc, hit button, appear in new city.

I agree with you 100%. Skipping a CS (thats what SE said we could do not just press a button and be there) is not complex nor is waiting on an airship. We need to look at battles and puzzles and raids to be complex not travel. I will never agree with Waiting being complex or skipping the wait to be less complex because thats silly. One is just faster.
