Emotes in the cash shop..

You are saying that with the cash shop, with the increased income from having the cash shop, they are NOT putting more money in the game. Was that your intent?

If you need an official statement to see how they are not putting any more money in the game than they used to boy I do worry for you. Thankfully you still have a long life ahead to figure stuff out on your own.

+1 And im sure they put bunch behind the scenes we dont see or take for granted. If I see something from previous event and I want it, what is €2-3? Its nothing

Before when old event stuff could be bought ingame for gil players complained that New players that missed it last year could get it basicly for free and that the rarity of the items was gone and wished people that missed it would not be able to get them, as once it's done it's done.

See the pattern here? No matter how you do it, there will always be people complaining that it's not the right way.

I was really worried when the cash shop came out, even more so when the whole dyes and Eternal Bond stuff was added, I didn't like that much and I still think we should have MORE features/advantages for being bonded in the game, but that's another topic.
Aside from the Eternal Bond I think the things added to the cash shop have been fair. I really don't want to see the same items in events year after year, but I can understand that someone who hasn't been around last year wants a yukata, and the prices are ok.

Someone said they would prefer "unique" items in the shop. I disagree, if that happens rich would clearly have a benefit over poorer people, maybe it would "only" be glamour, but to some people glamour is a big part of the game, I really don't want to have to spend real life money to make my char look a certain way, I can handle fantasia, but nothing else please.

Everything on the cash shop is completely optional. You don't need to buy anything in the cash shop to play the game to completion. If you don't like it, don't use it. I on the other hand don't mind a cash shop. Everquest/Everquest 2 had one for years before going F2P and that game had game breaking items on it. FFXIV is doing better with it, and it doesn't effect you if someone else buys an emote.

I've missed some past events but I still wanted that dang bomb dance so I bought it.
And fantasias. I am so glad I can buy them so I can play race roulette.

And what is 'completion'? Beating Alexander Savage? I think 'completion' in an MMO varies from player to player. If your completion goal is to beat Alexander Savage, you can do that without having to pay more on top of your already pretty hefty monthly fee. If someone has his or her completion goal set to collect all minions, he or she can't do that without having to pay extra. Why? Why is his or her monthly subscription insufficient to get full satisfaction out of the game compared to your (theoretical) one? And don't give me the crap of "it's optional and you don't need it!" because, one, that's not your call to make and two, if we follow that reasoning SE might as well add every non battle and crafting gear to the cash shop because you don't "need" the Thavnarian dancer set, or the bridesmaid dresses, or the spring dress, or the sleeper gear.

Hell, let's just go all out, shall we? They should add all furniture to the cash shop, too, because you don't "need" it to complete the game. Only gardens and workshops should be available for free in the game, everything else should be in the cash shop, since it's optional and you don't need it to complete the game. All Tripple Triad cards should also be added to the shop, since those are optional too and not needed to complete the game. Add all mounts to the cash shop, too, you only need one to beat the game and your chocobo can fulfill that role just fine, any more is just vanity and apparently vanity is not needed and if you want it you need to pay extra for it. Let's also add glamour prisms to the cash shop because glamour is optional and thus isn't needed to beat the game and can be safely added to the cash shop. Manderville Gold Saucer points should also be bought from the cash shop, since everything in Gold Saucer is optional and thus not needed to beat the game. SE should also add all emotes in the game to the cash shop, because those are fully optional, besides /poke and /beckon and the very few others you need for quest completion. Heck, why do we even have customisation options for our characters looks? All of it should go to the cash shop, one hairstyle, body-type, height, eye-colour, etc. for everyone for every race, anything more is just vanity. And don't you dare tell me "That's different!" because it's not, all you need to beat the game's story and Alexander Savage is a character, what hairstyle or look that character has is completely irrelevant towards beating that goal and is thus vanity and completely optional. To the cash shop with it!

I could probably find more optional things they should strip from the game to add to the cash shop but I think (I hope) the point's become rather clear?

I'll go on record saying that if you couldn't get it in the game at some point it probably shouldn't be in the cash shop. I don't see how it's a bad idea to open up the rewards for old content that will never be seen again to new and returning players.

Oh, just to put it in perspective:

To my knowledge, there's still no way to get the /throw emote from Christmas 2013. . . no one's complained.
Lightning Returns hairstyles and costumes are still not available. The weapons are STILL not available even from the Calamity Salvager. . . no one's complained.
You DO have to pay for wedding clothing and /embrace. . . no one's complained.
/fistbump, Twintania, and the Draught Chocobos all require networking in real life to obtain. . . Pretty sure no one complained all that much about that either.

STOP COMPLAINING!

Been to the Observatorium lately? The /throw emote has been in-game since I started playing, which was definitely later than 2013 ...
