What a great welcome to new and returning players, if it was stuff that could be earned through a previous seasonal event.. why not allow it to be earned again, instead of straight up ripping off paying customers. This is unacceptable.

Before when old event stuff could be bought ingame for gil players complained that New players that missed it last year could get it basicly for free and that the rarity of the items was gone and wished people that missed it would not be able to get them, as once it's done it's done.

See the pattern here? No matter how you do it, there will always be people complaining that it's not the right way.

So.. they did the exact same thing people were angry about.. but are making money off it now?

This solves nothing and only brews anger and well.. money for SE.

While one can always image how things might get bad in the future, I don't think such apocalyptic visions have much real relevance.

So, explain to me how being able to buy old emotes and outfits is hurting the game now. Because I don't see it.

Nope, that's not it at all.

No one is pissed off that you can buy the bomb dance and other things in the cash shop. In fact, people are supporting it.

I have no problem with them selling optional items, as they are optional and do not effect your enjoyment of the game what so ever since they are purely cosmetic. I'd just rather event items stay on the people who were there for the event.

That's your preference, SE sees the models they already made and went heck why not sell them instead of spend time making new models just for the cash store. There are a few new models in the cash store, but the store is mainly a way to reuse models. (they also give new models for seasonal events)

Nothing wrong with that. Just saying people should be happy there's a way to get this stuff at all.

It's not even expensive. People always say that 'oh I already pay a monthly fee" but that's only a fee to access the game servers...has nothing to do with optional stuff and it doesn't entitle you to everything that SE makes for the game.
