Since it doesn't look like they are going to run the "Lightning Returns" event again I wish they would just put the outfits in the cash shop, something I would actually buy.

I secretly hoped "Huzzah" would be there. I guess I'll never get that emote now![]()
I am completely fine with this and I will always rather see old event stuff in cash shop than new stuff.
Plus these yukatas were from 1 year old event and they still put them in game first so people had second chance to get them.![]()
Uhhh, this is the emote we need:

There's a 40-page thread seething with rage that bomb dance was put in the cash shop. If "Huzzah" was put in the cash shop, we'd never hear the end of it from the fire-and-brimstone types.
Not that I wouldn't want it there too, I would. Along with the Lightning Returns stuff, the Slime King Hat, the Wind-Up Brickman, and the Wind-Up Shantotto. Just a very vocal minority of people whining about the cash shop and it gets on my nerves.
Oh no trust me I've seen that thread and posted in it. The fact that it's 42 pages now is mind blowing. I missed a year's worth of events because of personal issues so I missed out on everything but the Lightning stuff that you mentioned. I bought the Bomb Dance as soon as I saw I could because I wanted it. What's $2 tacked onto my sub? I missed out on the event when it was going on so to me that's paying the little bit of my sub from when I missed the event. I don't really get why they're so upset when it's just COSMETIC stuff. They act as if they've put stuff that's game breaking in there. I'm pretty sure I've just pissed off a few of them by saying this but I really don't care.There's a 40-page thread seething with rage that bomb dance was put in the cash shop. If that was something they did, I don't think quite as many people would complain; it was actually one of the suggestions made in the first "OMGNOOO CASHSHOP" threads. It does mark a difference, though, since they've prior to now only added the old event items as the time for that event is coming around again. (Like how they added last year's yukatas to the Mogstation shortly before this year's Moonfire Faire started.)
But like they've done with previous event rewards, I think they're there to stay on the Mogstation, and not come back to vendors the next time Moonfire Faire rolls around.
*cough* not quite five minutes... I had to get all the past event rewards on one of my alts, and I think it took over 200 tokens. But yeah, I got them in less than a day at least =D and that was with levelling my character from around level 20 (the last five levels purely from the event fates, to save some token grinding xD).
I'm not really upset about it either, mostly because it is a past event reward. I would, however, be very upset if they released an emote exclusively on the Mogstation. And yeah, I wish they'd add the Huzzah emote... either make it possible to get it through an event again, or (if they have to) put it on the Mogstation.
And I wish they'd add the Lightning event gear as well. Though... considering that gear actually have stats, and is in many cases the best gear you can have at level 13-15, I think it'd be better if they released a 'copy' of it that was purely cosmetic.
Keep in mind the vast majority of the event stuff that they just put in the cash shop is from 1.0 only the black swimsuits are from 2.0.
You could still get the majority of them in 2.x events though (or all of them maybe, need to check my armoire). Not sure if the point you were making was that they didn't have the chance to obtain them in 2.x events, but they did. If that wasn't what you were trying to get across, sorry.
Is it just me who's annoyed, btw, that they labelled that set incorrectly? They managed to label the Solar/Lunar Summer Sets, and the Striped, and the Summer Morning, but somehow they thought it would be a good idea to label the Summer Evening set as "Black Summer set" (the items themselves, though, are still called "Summer Evening"). First of all, it's not really black, and the one black swimsuit set you can get is the one you exchange for the 30day Veteran Reward 2x"Cascadier Voucher" ^^;
