I'd just be happy for a reason to use anything regularly that isn't melee dps lb.

Caster LB gets used all the time too. In my raid static, during progression, this is how we used our LBs:
Melee:Caster:
- Garuda EX
Ifrit EX
Moogle EX
Ramuh EX
Shiva EX
T1
T2
T7
T11
T13Tank
- Titan EX
Leviathan EX
T4
T5
T6
T8
T9
T10
T12
A1s
A2s
- Ultima Ex
T13
I can't comment on A3s and A4s as we haven't done them yet, but there is a good mix of LB use between melee and caster in progression, which some would argue, is where it matters. Now as for that BRD LB... yea I'll agree that might as well not exist or be reverted back to the Heal LB for Lv3. I also agree the Tank LB could use something of a buff, I'm just not sure how. A did see a Tank LB used effectively in certain situations though, like on last boss of WoD, last boss of Haukke Manor HM, and Garuda Ex.

I think the worst offender now is how bad the LB is in Seal Rock for Healers and Tanks, but awesome for all forms of DPS. I'd really like it if you could 'unlock' an LB type and choose it as you see fit instead of being conformed to what your class is normally good for, especially since in PvP it just throws those notions right out the window.

It's perfect how it is. The LBs should /never/ have varying effects, because people will just pick out the one that does the most damage or has the 'best' effect and boom, that class is now mandatory in every static and no one else is allowed to limit break.
"I hate variety, everything should be the same! Because if things we'd have choices, we'd pick the best ones!"
Also point quote:
"that class is now mandatory in every static and no one else is allowed to limit break"
You mean like how right now only DPS are allowed to limit break? You mean mandatory classes like how SE is actually FORCING players to use a formulaic party setup in essentially all content?

More so, "You don't raid so you'll probably not see the situation where it is useful come up, may as well try it out somewhere else".Wow this is terrible advice and statement in general.
"Don't worry, you can see your skill animation on a separate video outside the game because our game is designed for you to never see IN game!"
and
"Don't worry, the skill is NEVER useful so the only way you'll be able to see it is in a context where absolutely nothing matters!"
Yes, that's how it works. All the LBs do the same potency for a reason. I love how your confusing logic sees one class being the only person able to limit break is somehow better than every DPS class limit breaking, though."I hate variety, everything should be the same! Because if things we'd have choices, we'd pick the best ones!"

Also, of course, the 'best case scenario' LB, being melee DPS currently, will always be what people default too. This would not change with this thread's idea, and it would actually be made worse as stated above because it would be simplified to only the class with the 'best' result being allowed.
It's not even a big deal though, as a healer I use my LB and save runs all the time, and there were at least 3 fights in coil where the tank LB could be used. The tank LB could be more useful certainly, but everything else is pretty perfect and shouldn't be tampered with.
You're so overly hostile btw, it's adorable.
