I am cocksure that Swiftcast-> Tri-Bind will not land on the whole of the "groups of people" trying to kill you. After you pop and lose your cooldown, you will still die.

Depends on how clustered they are, plus we also have Blizzard 2 if they get too close. In either case, survivability is there compared to other dps who only has single target stun/bind vs a group.

It ultimately boils down to whether or thier purify/fetter ward is on cooldown
