    Gratulation to Elysium but disappointed of Lucrezia

    I watched their kill videos and I'm a bit disappointed that it is possible to circumvent the royal pentacle mechanic. I like the creativity to do so, but it feels like T2 Enrage to completely ignore the rot passing mechanic in A4S, which is a heavy team coordination mechanic. I hope SE fixes the royal pentacle mechanic, thus one person can't trigger 2 of the orbs.
    For A4S, Elysium is clearly the stronger team.

    People have always been working around difficult/complicated mechanics.
    Examples:
    Tanks eating double prey in Rav EX
    Waiting until Enrage on T2
    Kiting the adds in Cutter's Cry
    etc.

    I find their ability to think outside the box commendable.

    Well, each method has different costs. Lucrezia didn't get to circumvent that without a penalty - namely the high spikes in MP cost to raise, and stifled DPS (especially due to broken rotations) during that time; I'm pretty sure I remember them even spending their LB3 as healer, instead of for damage. Which made the DPS demands on their party that much higher.

    I haven't seen the video but if Lucrezia used a level 3 Limit on raising everyone then I can't see how they're really 'abusing' anything. More like they are extending the fight to ensure a win instead of trying to zerg it, which I'd call 'being intelligent'. This isn't Turn 5's wall nonsense, there's players eating that damage (and from how it's being described, dieing to it) to keep other players from having to. Damn spot on teamwork, what.

    Well hitting sprint to get 2 orbs before you die of the first orb looks like "working as intended", suuuuure.... why do you even post if you haven't watched both videos to get a grasp what we are talking about?

    Are they dropped to 0 health from that first orb or just 1 hp? The hp bar is a poor judge of how much life you have when you get to the single digits.

    When you hit the first orb without debuff you get 50k insta kill, but delay and sprint let them the touch the second one before the dmg is applied. Watch the vid plz @8:30. If you do the die strategy, 6 ppl should die.

    Did the devs suddenly die and declare you the supreme overlord of Alex Savage? Who are you to determine what is "intended"?

    We aren't given any guidelines in endgame raids. Just hints and freewill to think for ourselves how to handle different mechanics.

    If every fight was a strict "Do X to win" I'm damned sure raids would end up dead as creativity and figuring out how to deal with mechanics in your own way is a big part of raiding.

    It's called common sense to recognize what is intended and what is an exploit. Remember, AK staying on the tree for first boss? I don't criticize the die strategy, I criticize that it is possible to hit 2 orbs where it is supposed to only hit one, but delay of the game enables you to get two, which seems like a bug/exploit.
