House Transfer to Ishgard?

They confirmed that they are working on giving us the option to move housing. But they didn't tell us much about it yet, so everything is just speculations right now.

They haven't officially said they were adding Ishgard housing yet. They said they will add Ishgard housing OR add more wards to the existing housing areas. They can do both, but from what Yoshi-P said, it looks like they will only do one or the other.

Personally, I'd rather they give us Ishgardian housing (because, as with the other city-states of Eorzea), this means they'll also be giving us a new grand company as well.

Unfortunately that means they would have to rebalanced and redesign all the current PvP maps and rules, design gear for seals, add a crap ton of quests, etc. Adding a new GC is not as easy as flipping a switch and "boom" there it is. Housing area is one thing, the core functionality code is the same, it only needs to be designed. Adding something like a new GC option would require a significant portion of time and resources. You'd most likely see something like this in the 4.0 expansion.
