For Fates, Raiding. Sometimes I'll go AFK on the Dravanian Forelands just to hear the background music.

Honestly, I fly around for the sake of it. Pick an area, put on a Studio Ghibli track, and just peace out while waiting for pvp que.
It was either Azys Lla for adamantite ore, or Churning Mists for Gandarewa.
Western Coerthas, Drivania forlands, chirning mists, and sea of clouds. was doing dragon skin maps with the Brothers.
also helping friends progress through the story so been in all the zones.
i dont do hunts much anymore so yeah....
I had a similar thought recently. I helped someone clear Bismark Ex and they then teleported to Sea of Clouds. It then occurred to me that I can't remember last time I was in Sea of Clouds.
Granted, I've been in CWH for 52 level quests for alts, and in Hinterlands for static. Sea of Clouds so neglected.
Theres really not much they can do when every single piece of your gear comes from expert roullette (2 entire gearsets). Theres little reason to do anything else. They could take all the hunt mobs and make them open world bosses, with actual good drops. They could be doing a lot of things, but they giving us what people keep asking for. Easy ways to get loot. It just makes for a really dull game.
Hopefully they will at least make the dungeons more fun but I wouldn't count on it. Most of us will be going into 3.1 close to ilvl 200 and the new dungeons will prob be ilvl 160 or 170. If they made the newer dungeons closer to like raids instead of neverreap, it would help i think. Then people would prob start complaining lol! MMOs just aren't what they used to be![]()

I fly for a lot of reasons, honestly. I'm including all of them, even the ones that are related to DoH/DoL as I feel that they deserve mention. Honestly, I don't understand all the people saying there's a lack of content or a lack of reason to revisit the maps when they're blatantly ignoring half of the the content we have.
Anyway, yeah. That list.
- Daily and weekly hunts along with A, B, and S ranks
- Helping friends with hunt mobs or levequests
- FATE parties whlie leveling or helping friends level
- Going to the Hinterlands to enter Savage
- Treasure maps, solo or with friends
- Exploring the maps and finding nice places to take screenshots
- Farming mob drops for crafting
- Gathering from regular nodes
- Gathering from unspoiled/ephemeral/legendary nodes

People in this thread keep posting about gathering..OP asked for a DOM or DOW. o.O
Player
OP also asked about level 60 but people keep mentioning leveling. I think they all deserve mention. You can't ignore a significant portion of the game's content and then claim that there's no content to be had.
He says,
I would like to think the point he is trying to make that there is very little to do in the game's open world for battle classes lv60 ; ; But I dunno...only he can sayI'm hoping this could be some constructive feedback and thoughts *fingers crossed* but this came up in our Free Company: there's very few times a disciple of war or magic has to ever fly other than Hunts, which aren't all that useful right now. I'd really love to find more reasons to enter the new expansion areas and have fun exploring them.
As a L60, when's the last time you flew, and why?
For gathering is has its uses...yup! But all my friends who don't bother with gathering...they have nothing to do. (Besides dungeon roulette) The open world in FFXIV is amazing, it has so much potential, yet for some reason the devs don't utilize it. *shrug* ; ; So as far as the content goes for battle stuff...there is little to none. :P
