Pacification

Any advice on how to tell if a certain enemy skill is not affected by pacify?

While doing daily hunts on PLD I noticed there are some monsters that have skills with castbar that still go off even if they are pacified.
I always thought if they can be pacified, they can only use auto attacks. Is this not the case?

Edit: I know its a weapon skill block. But if you fight something that is not a human, what is a weaponskill? Breathes with poison i.e. seem to sometimes be interrupted, sometimes not.
