Account sharing is no legitimate option for kill selling (I know it is done, ...), I'm speaking of proper kill sells (7-manning the fight).

I'm sorry, I'm not an uber raider and haven't been in Savage yet, so no, I did not read those quests on account of not having done them. A4 seemed to me to be pretty conclusive for Alexander, but maybe I misunderstood it. No need to get all aggressive about it.

Honestly, A3S is probably already sellable for some groups.

there is a big difference this time. and i am actually pretty sure savage a4s clear wont be needed to access a5s. the reasons :
people complained back then with coil that clearing the old (outdated) raid content was very hard to do because nobody did it anymore. this would be WAY worse this time with the current difficulty. echo wouldnt slove this. it didnt last time either. was one of the biggest complaints its also quite silly to block out new raiders that just got the game from the current endgame by this method. and saying BUY the kill is just plain bullshit and wrong game design.
the second reason : on coil there was ALWAYS this single quest after finishing the final turn which then blocked the NEW quest for the next arc.
for savage tough : THERE IS NO QUEST at the end this time. another indicator that we might not need it to access the next tier.
nobody knows for sure yet tough. so we have to wait and see. 3.2 wont be released until end of january 2016. so its still a good while till then. currently everything is a GUESS.
saying its gonna be the same because it was like that in 2.0 doesnt mean anything. HW changed a lot of these things. for example eso weapons dont require clearing raid content anymore etc. and not all of 2.0 was GOOD either. that roadblock turn pissed many people off. and thats ok. no other game i know blocks new players out of current endgame raids by requiring the old raid to be finished. it maybe required some gear level but never forced new people trough obsolete content.
and yes. i am raider myself. even tough i still say this roadblock was bullshit for us raiders aswell. as it brings problems for us raiders aswell by blocking off new players which may have the right attitude to be a good raid player for your group which maybe just lost a player due to rl or other reasons. reducing the pool of potential players like this is never healthy for raiding aswell on the long run.
saying a player who didnt clear this and this is not a good player is plain bullshit of an excuse guys. there is MANY good players who didnt have a static at that time but have the required skilllevel. or players who simply didnt PLAY at the time that raid was relevant.
i hope yoschis team learned something from this old mess and doesnt make a4s required to access a5s. on coil it made sense story wise. on alex we have story on normal and savage is completly extra. so its not the same system anymore.

I disagree, because i think that finding a static is not impossible. As you say there are plenty of good players who may be roadblocked and may deserve to do the next tier, 90% of players that are roadblocked are stopped because they are clearly NOT sufficiently skilled. This prevents people trying to get carried and wasting peoples time. There are times where an unskilled person has joined a static and caused unlimited frustration for the rest of the team, leading to the disbandment of the team of people who may of been competent enough to clear the content due to the nature of the mechanics in endgame. The issue is more with morale, where constant poor preformance, and lack of progress can lead to people not wanting to continue.
All of this can be prevented early by making it a prerequisite to clear the final turn of the current tier.

What would someone even want to buy savage clears for? O.o

I can almost guarantee the next savage will not be gated on the previous savage. Story mode will be the gate to each savage and the only necessary requirements being the previous story mode to be completed. I also don't think savage will get nerfed. I think hating the savage progression behind the previous savage would not only limit the player pool but also open it up for a potential nerf. But we shall see.

The reason I think that savage doesn't gate the next is because savage is a revisiting of the story from normal. It's prerequisite would be the experience of that story so the wandering minstrel can create the "savage" version from it.
