I didn't have a horse in this race, but after seeing some of the designs posted in this thread... I really have to wonder if maybe the entries weren't all just put in a hat and chosen at random. Some of these here are absolutely fabulous and I can't imagine how they were overlooked!

Also, as a side note... weren't these supposed to be original designs as stated in the rules? There are clearly three entries that were selected that are ripped straight from existing FF series designs. Hilarious.
