Well, in their defense in regard to cross classing Impulse Drive it did used to be a cross class skill until 2.45. Now, there wasn't any need to use it after the melee buff in 2.1, and even then it was a huge drain on TP.
More on topic. It would be nice to see some sort of adjustment to at least some of these abilities people have mentioned because some of them serve little to no purpose in any content compared to other options.
I use Featherfoot on adds in A1S and A2S if dolls are in funky positions, I'm also not opposed to reworking abilities for any job. As far as One Ilm Punch goes It would be cool to see what they 'could' do to this ability but I like it as a situational dispel considering I have plenty of other buttons to press while playing Monk. Even though the PVP usage outweighs the PVE ratio like 90% PVP > 10% PVE
