Suggestion in Pricing New Housing Wards Plots

Doesn't make much sense to change the price of S and M houses only to keep the larger ones the same price, they're meant to be for very rich players or for multiple FC members to chip in and buy one.

Heaven forfend a poor like me what scraped together 80 million gil between me and my BF buy an L house because someone on the forums arbitrarily decided they're only meant for certain subsets of people.

Heaven forbid a very casual player scraped together 5 mil after saving from their daily roulettes and the like, and now they can't buy it because someone on the forums arbitrarily decided they're too cheap for rich crafters. It goes both ways.

Keep prices as they are, they're fine across the board. When inflation gets WoW levels of bad, they we can talk about raising 'em.

Large house availability is extremely limited to 3 houses per ward and it is called a damned Mansion so yeah it should be only for very special people who worked over making their gil.

Ironically you're not too far off. I've made 100 million gil selling Purified Coke since the Red Scrip System came out. 45 Purified Coke a week @ 400-500k each. That's not including selling the HQ Favor Mats, Crystals, and Clusters you accumulate doing this.

And then they wonder why I don't shed tears for crafters when they cry that they can't make gear that competes/replaces raid drops...

I think 80 million gil is much more difficult to acquire than 5 million. Doesn't main scenario alone throw like a million at you just for doing it? 1/5th of a small...1/80th of a large. Big difference. To put it in perspective, for an FC to buy an L you'd need to ask 16 of your members to essentially forego an S house's worth of gil...is an L even the size of 16 smalls? I doubt it. The current L pricing only really benefits omnicrafters and large FCs with 50+ members who are too poor to afford an S house on an individual level, really.

tl;dr L houses are priced disproportionately high to their worth; raising those prices would only make it worse. (Ms are probably not really worth their value either, tbh.) It seems my opinion is in the minority, though.

you realize players have WAYYYY more gil now. Back when the first housing was launched 10mil was alot of gil now and days thats change. but they cant change the rates cuz that be messed up. idk how i feel either way lol

My server still think 10m is a lot. The HQ red scrip weapon cost around 10m here...

This will never happen - more worlds will be classified as "rich" perhaps but the outcry would be deafening if they raised prices in general... Now they *might* make ISHGARD WARDS more expensive as the "premium" new area but new wards in the older areas -never happening.

Considering they're going to give you the ability to up and move your current plot to Ishgard, I don't think they'll be valued any higher, unless you have to pay the difference.
