One can count the number of people who like the Heavensward trials outside of Singularity Reactor on a single hand. It seems to be inversely proportional to the number of people who enjoy listening to Ravana's tune when doing anything else in the game.

Bimomo did touch upon a point, though; some returning players farmed gear from previously high-end content and then dropped out for a few months before coming back for the expansion and thought themselves hot shit before the new content pounded them into the dirt and put the fear of gods back into them. It just so happens that these individuals are inextricably linked to each other in Duty Finder, sort of like how, every week when farming Alex tokens, some FCmates of mine are doomed to forever be grouped up with at least one of a list of twenty inept and unreceptive people whose names we have all memorized. Some people are just too "bad" to even know what "good" is, and so when they come up against content they can't overcome with their limited ability they immediately assume it too difficult to be overcome without the stars aligning.

When I queue for anything, I fully expect to stay till it's done, or time runs out. Something like what the OP posted? My response has always been, "90 minutes? Plenty of time to die." Folks usually learn better by doing it and it's best to have someone who has at least some idea what to do in the middle of it.

This is a pretty controversial issue, the release notes of 2.0 had

But when interviewed at gamescom the devs had changed their mind and said everything was "working as intended"
