It's because every NPC in that room was a representation of some of the leads on the FFXIV staff. If the music director or the lore hound or any of them were actually female in real life, there would have been females represented in the room in game.

Wasn't trying to, you're the one who brought that up. Not every thing people say is to turn things into social justice threads.
I was just pointing it out how not even an unnamed one was. Which seeing how SE loves miqo'te and everything, you'd think there'd be some unnamed ones standing around.
