A repair ward would be nice maybe?

Thats why i said a ward where only repairs can be set cause how do people find out you need repairs in those wards ?

The issue with the menders ward is its full of people not needing repairs because all the other wards are already full, SE needs to up retainer cap again, and would be nice to make menders ward for repairs only.

tldr for the rest: I agree with the OP. I would like to see a ward where you put up a retainer (not in Ul'dah), get items repaired (only in Ul'dah), more than five items (nope), and cannot sell (repairs only please). Mender's Ward is in name only.

Hi OP, I apologize for the behavior of the forum community.

The repair ward you're looking for unfortunately does not exist yet. The Mender's Ward is just another ward with a repair NPC inside of it, but it's not the ward you speak of, though it was intended to serve some of that purpose.

Put up a retainer. Not in Ul'dah Mender's Wards. Can't put a retainer there thanks to over population. Retainers have items to sell or busy being placeholders. Maybe this will get fixed once SE starts charging for additional characters and retainers. Shoo your sweaty selves out of the wards! Gettin' hot in here and nobodies taking off clothes to compensate.

Get items repaired. Not in Limsa Lominsa or Gridania. How often does a highly skilled crafter wander into an unloved city, into their wards, finds that lonely beady eyed lalafell retainer, shivering in the corner of that cobblestone ward Tiny Tim-style, with something that said crafter can repair? And don't go start doing it now just to prove a point, that lalafell is dead now and he isn't getting a raise (yes, that works on multiple levels).

Five Item Limit. Can't put up more than five items for repair. If there were a ward where a retainer could do ten or dare I dream (yes, I'll dream) more. Maybe even an item queue where the retainer would put up the next item/reward after one has been cleared.

Cannot Sell. Referring back to the ability to post a retainer. Wait... let me try posting like this for a moment: "repairs only plz lololol. /brix"

i think it would be nice if they at least added npc's in the towns that could fix your gear. they shouldn't fix it all the way thought cause the crafters will get mad, 75% should do.

The problem with this post (and I understand English is not your first language) is that the title and some parts of your OP did not actually put across your point and idea- "A repair ward would be nice" obviously immediately makes some people think- "Well there is one!". I'm not poking fun, I'm just saying that it is probably the reason for some people to have made the replies that they have as they have not understood what you first meant.

I'm guessing that you actually are suggesting being able to list items up for repair- an unlimited number- in some kind of viewable "Repair Counter" and not necessarily a ward or instanced area where retainers will also be standing selling items. If there was a "counter" like an AH where you could list your items/gear up with a repair reward and deposit them like a storage box so that other players could just fix them for you while you are sleeping and then collect them from the counter when you log back in, then yes I agree this would be a nice feature

Their IS a repair ward... But no one uses it for that because all the space is taken up by people selling stuff. They need to make it do you CAN'T put your retainer there if its selling anything, and only put it there if its asking for repairs.

And no, I don't think they should be able to sell stuff while they ask for repairs, because then they'll just put up some repair that no one will ever do (1 gil reward for grade 5), so that they can continue to use it as a place to sell stuff.

Every single one of you missed the point he was trying to make! lol damn xD only one other person understood. He wants SE to make it so we can put up more than just 5 slots of items to be repaired. And to not be able to sell anything in the menders ward, only set up repairs.

Indeed. I want SE to make the ward that people can ONLY put up repairs..
People don't know if there are people looking for repairs in the menders ward as it has shops all over..
No one will go in to see if anyone is looking for repairs or not as there are too many sellers.. It loads slow.
And yeah you know just put money on the retainer and be able to fix 10 items..
Not having to put up 5 item slots and 5 slots to put some gil in..
Waste of space..
If you have been fighting... You have more then 5 items damaged..

PMore slots and only repair retainers in that menders ward. That would be nice so people can see only needed repairs there and know it's only repairs in there. :-)
