This is actually a good idea, makes sense too! Of course if it makes sense to us, it doesn't make sense to SE ;\
Ok so now we have a second window pop up and repairing takes even longer now because you have to choose your dark matter. People complained enough already which is why we have the current quicker system. I would say leave it as it is

Have the game do a simple check, if Dark Matter 1 present, then repair with Dark Matter 1. If not, use Dark Matter 5 or 4 or whatever. (Assuming its a piece of gear that needs at least DM1 to repair it with)
Haven't seen this thread before, but i'm glad we're sharing the same ideaI agree this should be implemented, and it seems more people are open to the idea than they were when I started a similar thread a little over a month ago.![]()
I have to explain myself again in case you didn't get what i said. When doing raids, leves... etc you get for example many grade 5 dark matter. And since u ding 50, you do lvl 50 events with group so whenever you die u get raised and that saves alot of DM.
So why wouldn't i have the option to use those grade 5 DM's that been piling up in my inventory to repair lower gear instead of buying the matching DM for the gear?

'cause you can sell them in market ward and buy tons of grade 1 and grade 2 d. matter...

I think refining the current system so that only one generic type of Dark Matter exists would be nice (it would add four inventory slots for me, at least, instead of having to carry around all 5 types). Repairs would be similar to how they are now, but with the following changes in requirements.
(Current req. => New req.)
Grade 1 => x1 Dark Matter
Grade 2 => x2 Dark Matter
...
Grade 5 => x5 Dark Matter
I just don't understand the reasoning behind anyone not wanting this, it's not like you would be forced to use grade 5 dark matter on a low level repair. It would just be an option for those of us that don't feel like carrying around all 5 grades and have a bunch of grade 5.
I think this is a great idea. More inventory space ftw!
