Paladin DPS "Holy Aura" idea: Zeal

The MP draining thing would make it too much like DRK and then DRK/WAR would even need more DPS to keep there roles as the more damaging tank because that is the main focus of PLD is to be more defence then offence and the Zeal effect shields blocking Magical is also slipping into DRK area. All in all this sounds too much like a change to PLD. But none of them are terrible ideas and it's something you could make a new class on.

I mean we can understands each class has its up n downs, and differences, but making PLD the most boring one isn't cool either. As for their "defensiveness," Drk has the same defense as Pld, where does PLD stand then?

The only 2 Defence PLD and DRK has is Ramparts is Shadow Skin and Senitel is Shadow Wall. The Advantage DRK has over PLD is purely magical and that's it Dark mind beining the shortest Defense CD of 60 secs.

And depends on how you look at this but DRK D blade can reduce incoming Magic where as PLD can't unless they have a MNK in the party.
