I feel as though popping group CDs on pull is bad practice because all classes have ramp up (at least 3 GCDs to put on slashing/piercing/blunt debuff? I don't play MNK or DRG but for NIN and WAR, it's 3 GCDs) and so the B3 opener shouldn't be that big of a deal, but if it's as you say, then yeah, my opener will lose out on the group buffs. Also, I adjusted my opener to have quelling and ley lines before the B3 but being on my phone and trying to put it in here makes me sad.

Just my opinion but I personally completely disagree on a B3 opener. I don't see the benefit for the time wasted

I came up with a new opener but a minimum of 687 Spell Speed is required as it barely leaves any room for error.

Tried it out and it worked with 687 Spell Speed. You barely squeeze in the Fire 4 and start the Blizzard 3 at the end of Astral Fire.

I tend to agree with Harold on this one. It's an impressive parse for you no doubt, but it comes at the sacrifice of group dps. You're picking up the slack. But then again, whatever works for your group...

It was a sell if you can't tell from the parse already, everyone was playing it super safe other than me and we had four people on their alts in il190-195 for a one chest run. We already had a 5:30 minute clear before. In fact, if this was a normal clear and we had two jumps like we normally do, this could have easily been a 1.4k+ parse.

Put a link to the .act file then Regardless of a sell or not, your Bard DPS and other DPS was really not up to scratch - I really hope that other DPS was a MCH rather than a MNK.

As I said, the other DPS were both on alts. I don't know what you are trying to argue here, this is an i190 bard with no disembowel on a 3 jumps run. Monk had damage down debuff.

IIRC the idea around it is so you have more mana at the end of your fire phase so you don't waste time waiting for a mana tick when you switch into your first ice phase. Not sure which is the bigger dps loss though, not enough time to work it out.
