I disagree there.Did you ever play WoW , its very similar to WoW imho, now look at holy priest, quite close to WHM , now compare it to Disc priest Holy pally resto druid , shammies , and hw monks. They are on the bottom end of the viability list, because unlike the others they offer close to no utility, BUT even so people will still take a skilled holy priest over any unskilled disc preist or holy pally.
A disc priest is basically a must and unless you are a holy priest god like Jhazrun, you will be forced to go disc.
Disc priests are so utterly broken in WoW it is not even funny.
i loved holy pallas more but that is preference , just loved beacon of faith ^_^
i fully aggree that is why whm should and must remain unique,it wasnt so noticable pre 3.0 because you only had 2 healing classes and scholars couldnt aoe heal for jack (another thing they kinda took away from whm since they gave sch more power in the aoe departament),you see i am not against ast buffs or making the class competitive or what not, i am against it if its at the expense of the other 2 classes, sch is not AS much affected as WHM is, for all i care they could make AST the uncontested single target healer, sch would still have their superior mitigation and whm superior aoe heals, now the difference is so small and insignificant that it does not matter at all what you bring to a raid,i also admit that one of the biggest problems imho fueling to this class dispute is the small party size where composition does not matter.
I agree with that. I would have prefered that CU instead of giving mitigation and regen gave a DPS boost to all allies inside the bubble. That would have been more unique and wouldn't have conflicted with WHM and SCH.
Now that I tried AST and WHM both at the same time i feel like they are playing too similar.
