It's their size and placement relative to their surroundings what bothers me, not their actual size. Also, it's "Sicno"
By the way if you honestly believe a healer can watch the party list only "a few times a minute"... I don't know what to say.

Seriously just give us the UI API already. It will probably solve 90% of the UI complaints within the first two weeks of its release.
I cannot fathom why the API is of such low priority on SE's list.

Although I don't see how the TP bar would bother anyone - as I barely even notice it myself - It's almost essential that they add an option to turn it off. Not every job has to worry about their team's TP.
You are right. But this game is now two years old. The unused space from the group window (which is actuall smaller as before as missing group buffs) is now used and some people are freaking out. WTF?
Then they say: Well not everyone needs to see the TP? WTF
Who needs to see the TP?
Healers, Tanks and DPS! Why do they need to see it?
View of healer:
Scenario 1:
Ok the TP of the tanks is going down. I should use my TP refresh (if available) but for sure look that I do not generate to much overheal to not catch aggro!
Scenario 2:
Ok the TP of the DPS is going down. I should use my TP refresh (if available) but for sure should manage my mana more. As the fight will take longer without TP I will need to heal more.
View of Tanks:
Scenario 1:
Me and the other tanks are going down with TP... we should switch main tank to the one with more TP and try to gain some on the OT with help of DPS/Heal
Scenario 2:
Oh DPS are running out of TP. I should manage my HP and CDs more as we cannot risk a wipe at this point!
View of DPS:
Scenario 1:
Oh someone is running out of TP -> Cast TP refresher
Scenario 2:
Wuahahahaha I give a shit on TP as also for Mana and HP of others!
And please let nobody come around saying "well it was not needed to think like that in the past" it can happen in the future! Just imagine a boss got more HP and maybe also a Rage Mode where he its the last 15% with +40%
BTW:
They needed two years to see that their current class give a shit of TP but also do not see that others give a shit on MP and HP?
Come on!
@ Sicno, be realistic the TPbar is the same thickness as the HP and MP bar. It's not the same size as the buffs. To me, it is like they just shrunk the buffs to let the all the TP bars of the party noticeable. As I said you pay attention too much into details that don't have a huge impact in game at least you have some kind of disability that is making you frustrating. I can understand that.
Although you said that the SE Dev team should re work and give us options, I can't agree entirely with it cuz u need to remember that the community showed a disinterest to help their team members ( of course not everybody but a portion of the community ). If they give the option to turn it off, people will turn it off completely and say I can't see ur tp bar only mine cuz I have it off. Another thing as other players mentioned I would prefer the Dev team to don't re work on this implementation and work on another bug/glitch/ or whatever feature that is needed in game.
Lol this thread.
We were BEGGING to be able to see other people TP when partying and now this? Just ignore that TP bar if it bugs you. I know I don't pay attention to it :P
I think the buffs are the same size as before. I think there was always that space for the TP bar, but it was never shown because of [PS3 reasons]. But I think it's quite clear it was always intended to be there.
I seriously don't even notice the TP bar unless I'm specifically looking for it. Personally I want an option to make it bigger, I guess I got so used to it not being there that I've not adapted to checking it yet.
