Can you Devs please pay close attention to pvp dps

i killed as much with my monk as i do with my smn, and im talking about +8 kills,cant do as much dmg as a caster but i can kill as much as them.I guess is more easy to get kills as smn or a BLM than a melee, but you can get as many as a smn with other dps classes.

What I'm saying is that there are more cases of 5x smn on top in damge and/or kills than there are, for example, 5x mnk. See the scoreboard for yourself (as you prob know), I bet, at least half of the time there will be a smn on top. I'm not talking about individual skill. Hell, I don't think dealing much damage with smn would be hard. But I wouldn't know as I've never tried.

As mnk I could easily reach fever however it took alot of patience and striking at the right moment, 1 v 1 mnk is very strong partially against a smn

Playing as a smn all I can say is how ridiculously easy it is too kill multiple people at once, smn truely is op. People mention melee lb as too strong but really it's not considering its major risk. Smn dealing its damage helps the team then fold in clusterfuck situations, leaving easy pickings. Not to mention lb stacking is still a thing...

If your out numbered a melee lb will virtually do nothing except take 1 person down, I've been in plenty of outnumbered situations as smn and my lord its silly. Tri disaster, bane, painflare, energy drain, deathflare, swiftcast tri bind, lb.... Melee mop up the rest

Being a melee you need decent heals to back you up, being a caster not so much just hide behind your team.

Calculating a strike at the right moment, as mnk, to get a kill in a zerg pack, is next to impossible considering server latency. At least for me. The problem is the animation time most mnk attacks have. There is always some range dps "stealing" the kill. Well, almost always. Still, getting battle high isn't very hard if you go for it.

Monk vs mage, 1 on 1 is pretty simple. Those occasions hardly occur for me though.

Sure with shoulder tackle etc it's hard to time that right, but generally I would wait for someone to stray just far enough away so I could finish them off.

Building up your gl3 beforehand then burst that last 50%

It just depends on your situation, early on in the fights there's not much you can do. As the alliances start thinning out later on in the game opportunities will present themselves. If was pretty sad to see smns and crap doing basically no kills. But as mnk i was hitting 8-12 plus per game with 0/1 deaths

Idk I played like 7 or 8 matches last night for the first time since the update and astro didn't seem any more difficult to kill than they used to pre update. They still die just like every other job does when focused. But then again maybe I just haven't run into any good astros.

Come on guys, be reasonable. Just because SMN has the best burst, best dps, and is the safest damage dealing class in pvp doesn't mean they're over powered!

WAR/DRG/MCH have higher bursts than summoners

Summoners are strong in seize the same reason black mages are strong in slaughter, its easy for terrible players to use them as a strong back line

Lets wait for wolves den to come out to actually test them in a proper pvp environment instead of a casual mode, then we can properly assess their power
