The weapons are worth getting, but the entire set combined after that is worth less stats than the weapon when compared to fully melded i150 pieces.

Oh, I though some few crafting pieces are still better? Like the chest piece? (tho I would still get the chest piece, since it looks awesome *_* )

All of the pieces are upgrades. They just aren't very big upgrades. The chest takes 2 weeks to get, and it's only 10 gathering and 5 perception better than the melded white chest.
