If you are getting 3 jumps its going to drastically lower dps. 650-675 dps is pretty normal for a 3 jump A1S, which usually means you are looking at your damage dealer is either dying or just not doing their job properly.Jayjohn is correct in saying that the DRK numbers are actually pretty low. I was the one that posted that 672.52, and I only really posted it because a buddy of mine notified me that my parse from 2 weeks ago was higher than the other DRKs on that spreadsheet, and that I should add my parse to the list as well.
I immediately regretted posting that parse because it really is not indicative of what DRKs can do DPS wise. That parse was with all 3 jumps, no slashing debuff, or any raid utility from our NIN (besides the beginning where we're all fighting the same mob). In addition, the fight itself was not a very smooth one. I'm hoping to update it with a more accurate example of DRK DPS in the future.

I'm wondering how their healers are dealing with this? Our healers are struggling to just heal through preys, so we've been tanking (aside from first part) in tanking stance exclusively. Tank dps is like maybe 600 (not including phase 1).

In regards to A1S
One of few instances where Holmgang is better than HG/Living dead because of its short 3 min CD aligning with 2/4 Possible tank busters. Can confirm stupid numbers is largely achieved by using this cheese. With how this fight works in particular, PLDs kind of have to put themselves in ShO eating 2+ GCD's of penalized-zero damage ontop of having to actually maintain aggro through their lowest pot combo.
However I can see DRK staying out of grit for the full length with SSkin, SWall, and DADMind. I havent tested it myself but that should be enough to survive the Buster without grit and in full slaying. However the full dump still makes it inferior to WAR since a WAR can have vengeance, RI and ToB+Conv for everything in the rotation outside of the tankbuster.
You would need both Dragon Kick and Apocatasis to simulate DRK level of mitigation for PLD but both in the end fall short against WAR and are much more riskier to pull off. A string of stray auto-crits into a double gunnery/fount could mean death.
Another note is that this is still a small sample size and should be taken with a grain of salt. Many of these parses are progression parses and alot of safety nets were made for the success rather than pure DPS.

Just went ahead and posted my parse for those wondering numbers for ot drk

I know you're being sarcastic but I've called Yoshi P and told him of this blasphemous parse. He'll be reducing all of DRK's attacks to 1 potency at a 1000tp cost next Tuesday.

Forgot to take SS, but last night our WAR parsed 935 on A1S and I parsed 1040 on DRK on A2S. Gonna try to see if anyone still has the parses from last night.
In general Alexander Savage does not seem to hit the tank itself very hard. The mini tank buster for the first 4 legs of A4 is like one Flare Breath from T13 or something in terms of how fast your HP drops. The tanking stance is of course great, but there's almost nothing you can't survive in the DPS stance if you pop cooldowns.
