The item(vortex feather, etc) doesn't drop in undersized.
Gotta do it synced. Most people don't want to do it synced.
The big thing is the primal items should be fixed so they can drop in undersized party mode. That would seriously help with the current situation where you rarely see people doing the extreme primals with a lvl 50 group so the supply of primal items has dropped to a trickle.
No stop asking for nerfs.
Go grind gil if you want something instead of making a post about it.

That just means there's opportunity for profit, for those who have the drive to fill a niche. The big thing is the primal items should be fixed so they can drop in undersized party mode. I bought a lot of ex primal parts prior to 3.0 as i knew their value would skyrocket due to being old content.
I made a pf saying buying cortex feathers, crag hearts, inferno horns etc.
Bought 7 vortex feathers for 30-50k each lmao.
Srry op if u didn't plan ahead.
No. I bought Vortex Feathers and Inferno Horns just to drive the price up to resell to people wanting primal weapon glamour. My greed for gil trumps your wish for easier access to primal weapons.
Finally something I can finally attest to. I am a crafter myself, I have crafted both the Vortex and Inferno Astrologian weapons for myself, spending quite a few mil just for the 1 ingredient. You don't necessarily have to "nerf" the recipe, just make it to where the same drop rate % applies, but it has a chance at falling inside the chest.
We know they can do this since it was done with the Baby Opo-Opo minion. I have never and will never understand this whole attitude of "I don't want to share my special pixels with anyone, in any more fair manner, they must pay the same blood, sweat, and tears I did!"
I have personally farmed the items long ago, for the housing items and were made for my FC house. As well as pay for them with my own hard earned gil to make two weapons for myself. Personally I'm fine if they want to simplify it, means I can make even more for myself much easier and faster! I personally wouldn't complain over it.
Though I'm not entirely sure if "nerfing the recipe" is the way to go, only because I'm not sure SE has ever done that before? Still I'm all for a more easier way to obtain the craft-able item at least through means of adding it to the chest or something. It's old content, there are new primals, new items, new fights, new glory. Go have fun with those!

Such is the price of "very nice looks" glamour. So that players with the capability, luck or gil to obtain said weapons stick out among the crowd. A sign of wealth, a luxury.
If they nerfed the recipe, then it wouldn't be so special and it wouldn't appear to be "very nice looks to them" but a common look.
This is actually what happened to Kingly Whiskers on Gilgamesh, which have been holding steady at 10+ million gil.
Keep the recipes the same, let the mats drop in unsynced.
