Pally dps in A1 Savage

I'm 192 (187 in full slaying) and know how to use Goring blade and Royal Authority. You guys must be reading the numbers different than I am cause there's no way to get 800 dps on a PLD. Like I said in my other post, in Sword Oath and in full 180+ slaying accessories, I can only average out to 500 according to the numbers at the end of a lvl 60 dungeon boss. I just look at the main numbers on the main screen after the fight. How do you guys read your numbers?

They are probably using that which shall not be named. Looking at the numbers on screen doesn't show the DoT from say goring blade of even CoS. But your number seems low I'm only ilvl 183 my shield lob hits for almost 500 using 3 slaying and 2 fending. RA will hit for almost 2k, in FoF well over 2k crit.

I know about that which shall not be named. 2k with RA? I hit 1.4k with it while in FoF (full slaying). My shield lob only hits for average of about 450 in full slaying with Sword Oath. About 375 in fending. You guys must be stacking all the str potions and foods possible cause that's not happening other wise. Do you guys also throw all your bonus points into str instead of vit? I don't raid since I don't have a static, but any info would help that you haven't said yet. Also, I'm using Rav's sword atm and will get ilvl 200 after reset.

If you guys are talking about pure dummies dps, that's different that a normal battle. Are you guys giving me the best possible out come with crit numbers or are these the average numbers?

Sorry should have been more specific. Those numbers are with FoF up, max DPS that I can hit for. I don't know what my actual DPS is as I play on a PS4. Was just thinking with the numbers you said it had to average higher than 500, it just seemed low. With out FoF up its about the same as the numbers you said in this post, roughly the same. The numbers don't change much with full slaying vs a mix, you do notice a change with full fending though.

I never readjusted my stats since hitting 60, but I currently sit at 773 str/774vit, thats a mix of accessories 3str/2vit. Almost at my eso chest piece so thats going to go up.

Um, I'm currently sitting at 900str/850vit before party buffs, raid buffs, food, and pots.

The tanks pulling the higher DPS numbers you see will all have similar stats.

The rest comes down to how long you can sit in sword oath, and how little enmity generation you can get away with. Outside of a few RoHs in your opener, you should be doing pure RA>RA>GB.

I mean this politely, but you're doing something wrong. Either with your PLD or your ACT, I suspect the latter. Maybe you have encounter reset on really low (like 5 seconds?) so when you switch off for even a small amount it resets your meter, denying you a big portion of your opening burst DPS.

Options > Main Table/Encounters > General. In there is should have two boxes. The lowest box on the page with a number in it is your encounter reset timer.

Honestly, it would be wise for you to beat on a dummy until you can match those numbers. It'll give you a feel for the where trouble is.

As for reading numbers, people are typically just reciting the column marked 'EncDPS'.
