I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to Death, Nor known to Life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, unlimited blade works.

^ as this person said way to only quote part of the notes.
Also... Not everything is designed for everyone. So even if it was for high end FCs congrats to them.
Newer players to MMO games will likely draw from their experiences playing FPS games, GTA, Dragon Age, Skyrim, etc.. and they will evaluate a MMO based on that criteria. But other online games (and offline RPGs) are designed to be picked up, played for maybe 5 months and then abandoned for when the next big game comes along. A Veteran MMO gamer knows that the experience of the game is stretched out over years, and if crafted properly, it leaves players with some of the best gaming experiences to be found anywhere. This is the problem most content is solo and you get your group action from a cross-server queueing tool. This is not like older MMOs where servers developed real communities. It's more like MacDonald's Drive-Thru, where you queue up, do your run, then never meet those people again.

OP really needs to edit their post, this thread is pointless.
As long as there isn't any tangible in game benefit of having a FC airship over the default Ishgarde one, there shouldn't be too much of a fuss. Otherwise we'll just have more grumbling about the housing system, which is not really ideal to build content around. They're going to need instanced housing eventually.

This thread has gone on for eight pages because no one bothered reading past the first post. Please stop this madness. Look at what I just quoted. Please read it.
there should be, and SE should incentivize larger FCs. this is an MMORPG not a MORPG, people should want to get out of their little bubbles that have less than a dozen people in them, you can already do that in DF and 8 man statics.
I'm not saying I'd never want them to add benefits to company airships, but with the housing system the way it is and will be post 3.1, players will need to be part of nonmigratory FCs to really benefit. FCs that are migratory (those that shift MMOs frequently to maintain interest) won't be able to reap the benefit of the enhanced airships due to the fact they lose their housing if they're gone too long. If they did add such benefits, I'd hope they'd also talk about future development goals for the housing that aim to be more inclusive of the migratory community.

LOL, Indeed. Although I would just add at this point that players could always join a Free Company. Though I recognize that for some players this represents something too close to working for the collective good, and might offend their rugged individualism...that said, it's an MMORPG folks, that implies socializing, communicating and working with others...Free Companies are not bad things, They are not there to suck you dry, they are not there to tell you what dungeon to run, what class to play or when you have to be online.
Many FC are medium sized groups with a strong core of friends who welcome newcomers with open arms. Many FCs are not about end-game, gear grind or any of that nonsense. Many FCs are just about creating a nice group play with and a group/environment to call home. Many FC encourage people to play whatever class they want, for as long as they want and whenever they want. Many FC simply ask that their members help each other and are respectful of others.
Free Companies are not bad things, give them a chance, join one or form one of your own. Create a community...

that sounds like they quit paying their subs. i don't think SE have much if any obligation to these people if an entire FC doesn't have any members paying sub fees.FCs that are migratory (those that shift MMOs frequently to maintain interest) won't be able to reap the benefit of the enhanced airships due to the fact they lose their housing if they're gone too long. If they did add such benefits, I'd hope they'd also talk about future development goals for the housing that aim to be more inclusive of the migratory community.
