Lack of two ast buffs stacking is pretty crap for double ast comp alone-stances not withstanding.

I think I would rather keep it 300 and have a buff based on sect as well, such as an increase healing received or something like that. Maybe just me though. A insta aoe heal at the least, being the only healer without one is kinda lame.

It is a level 60 skill with a steep, long cooldown. It should be pretty amazing.

Yeah, whatever they do, I agree with you that it needs an awesome instant AOE heal, because you are right, it does suck being the only healer in the game without one.

The system they have in place for the cards is what they intended. They want RNG and it's here to stay. Increasing the duration of the cards grants a bigger pay-off for drawing said card. While it doesn't nullify or surpress the RNG, it makes getting the card you wanted that much sweeter. The potencies are fine since you're the only healer that can add a buff that scales multiplicatively with other damage buffs.

As long as rng stays AST will be shunned forever.
A healer that is not reliable is simply not worth the trouble of taking along.
If they indeed only plan to do what they said here, congrats people, we are now official farm content healers where reliability is less of an issue.

This exactly. They may want RNG, but I doubt it's here to stay. At least not as random as it is now.

They could lessen the blow of RNG by making shuffle not reroll the same card and combining ewer and spire to make another DPS card. As it is now, we're probably not getting a class rework. I doubt RNG is going to be completely omitted like some of you want. So yeah depending on the buffs to healing power...

You'll be seen as the "content-on-farm" healer.

Welcome to corsair from FFXI. Shunned from content until 90 cap because Bard existed. RNG rarely beats consistency unless the reward for the best of luck is outright broken.

Except for the fact that RNG from an AST has NOTHING to do with it's heals, minus the RNG associated with getting a Benefic proc.
