4.0.- The Deepths: All the isles mentioned in lore, including as main attraction, Meracydia.
5.0.- Unification: All the Eorzean unexplored regions, west shroud, gyr abania, o`ghomoro, panghadadsadadaldla, xelpathol.
6.0.- Reconquista: Ala Mhigo as a full interactive region on siege which with the passing of patches, changes as we push back the empire, just like a full scale multizone mor dhona.
7.0.- Far East: Othard. Full scale oriental-esque region featuring Doman as main city and several large maps that will incorporate flying, sailing and underwater traveling.
8.0.- The Revolution: Illsabard. Final massive update of FFXIV, featuring the garlean empire native continent and their capital.
9.0.- Heavens Above: Moonwhale confirmed! illuminati confirmed!

I really hope we get that many expansions...that would be awesome. I really want to have the rest of Eorzea unlocked to explore before going somewhere else entirely. The swimming idea can be really good if they do it correctly. Can you imagine use taking a boat out into the ocean and then diving off that boat and diving down to ruins on the ocean bottom and going inside to do a dungeon or RAID or whatever. Atlantis-like setting. It just better not take all day to swim somewhere or it will suck bad.

It can be anything, as long as it's better than Vashj'ir. Ranged combat wasn't too bad, but playing a melee class wasn't fun in the slightest. Underwater melee combat just isn't fun unless they introduce a secondary weapon specifically for it, similar to GW2. Even then I much preferred land combat.

all point to a full scale war with the empire and since for push them out of eorzea we will need to get ala mhigo you can expect the last part of eorzea to be the them of the next expansion.

ps: and yoshida have said wanting to finish eorzea before begin another part of hyadelin

Judging from how all the "Free Ala Mihgo" fanatic NPCs have been behaving, and add to the fact that the bandits near Little Ala Mihgo used to be the old guard of the previous regime in Ala Mihgo, I am of the line of thought that the people currently living there likely prefer GARLEAN rule as opposed to what they had before, at the very least under Gaius, whom I'm still holding onto hope that he survived and will start an outright civil war with Garlemald.

Well it probably is better than their previous ruler at least, he was a tyrannical king who's unpopularity paved the way for gaius to manipulate the circumstances to take ala mhigo with little resistance. Previously ala mhigo had been holding off garlemald whilst trying to invade gridania.
