Has anyone actually managed to sell any of the AF2 gear?

I've sold 3 astral silks since I started crafting (after I made myself the HQ WVR chest) and made a grand total of 9million from this. I've attempted to undercut on the board, in PF, but nobody is buying these items.

Even undercutting the AF2 market that exists (which is pitiful, and nobody has sold one single item) on Balmung to 10mil per 4-silk piece, nobody is interested, even when I offer a choice of item being crafted. What's the point? Has anyone had any luck shifting these items?

One of the problems is that only crafters would be interested in this gear and at those prices, it's mostly rich omni-crafters who can already make the gear themselves who can afford them.

When making such a large investment, I have to determine whether I can get a return on it. At the moment, there's very little chance of making back any gil put into 2* crafting (whether it's buying crafting materials or finished products), so my budget on those is minimal. We have no idea what we're gearing for or whether there'll be any lucrative markets when 3* is introduced. If it turns out that 3* is gated as well, then crafting is more or less doomed since it'll just be a massive time and gil sink with no reward. Any remaining crafter would simply be burning away their savings for the sake of getting the next BIS gear sets.

Plenty I imagine, not everyone has a name like mine minds that. It could be a person they admire, or they like their name. Or perhaps they simply dont mind at all.

I'm inclined to agree. some dude on the server was offering 9 mil for a completed main hand. I was tempted to offer him 9 mil for just the mats lol. no way I want someone elses name on my stuff, I think the real cereal crafters all take pride in it.
I just finished making all the main hands for myself and they all have my sig, working on the bodies next.

I think my main issue is that I'm just trying to make ANY money off them - I'm selling the HQ silks for 2mil a piece and nobody is interested. I guess even that's too high even for glamours.

I would buy them all at 2mil to be honest. But, I am interested in making all the peiceso. Most people are looking for right-side slots and MH/OH first. If you were selling mats for those you would be sold out I imagine.

I have sold 3 HQ rings for 10 mil each. Thef avor mats cost me 9mil total and 3 of my crafter tokens.I have also sold my first set of favor mats for 5 mil when they came out. I have sold a hq ingot for 5mil, bought the 5 mats for 3mil. Didn't really expect it to sell.

Now I am just buying mats and stocking them until I see what changes they make.
