Just a suggestion for Holmgang that would solve all my personal problems with it: Make the root a buff that can be manually clicked off.

I never really minded it until yesterday, where I had to Holmgang in Fractal during the hand + magitek + 3 other mobs section of the last room. The hand finished his stun AOE before I could move, then the AOE that spawns the bind circle hit me while I was stunned, then the two laser AOEs from the robot things pointed directly at me and I died before I could break the bind.

Life is unfair, but Holmgang is especially so.
