I don't do T13 because I didn't aim anything (weapon? meh. I only use omnilex nexus until expansion come). I only do T10 and T11 before expansion because I was aiming the healer pants and accesories (pants that almost show your crotch).

Wow... So this is what they mean by Nerd Rage? Or is that worse then this? Not sure if this is sad or hilarious! I'll let you know when I stop laughing. XD
No, the whole point of raiding is downing bosses while coordinating with other players. If the main factor to killing a boss is the gear the players have, then the raid is poorly designed (it has been an issue on some wow bosses in the past). No I don't think it's unfair, it's the whole point of raiding, get better gear to do the later turns. S
It would be perfectly natural for the top end players to clear a raids in a matter of few days, as it mean they would have mastered the game.
I don't see why it's bad to make a raid with some tight gear checks. It just allows the top groups to really stand out. It's like a professor/teacher handing out a test where he expects everyone to get 50% at instead of 100%. That allows really strong students to stand out, by getting maybe 60-70%. If he made the test easy such that several people can get 100%, then it's impossible to tell who actually had a better grasp at the material among the 100%ers. It's the same for A4S, the world first groups probably push their dps way above the expected dps numbers, and the group that does that the best will probably clear it before the other groups.
The tiniest lala.
Dps/gearchecks bosses have been in mmo's as long as i can remember. Believe it or not, some people actually really enjoy them. No, the whole point of raiding is downing bosses while coordinating with other players. Yeah but generally, in MMORPG, there were more than 4 relevant bosses every 6 month. In old MMORPG there may have been like more than 10 bosses in the raid and maybe 1 or 2 true gearchecks in the raid. The point is not all bosses were, like in FFXIV.
I think the bigger concern should be... If "world first" groups are unable to clear this raid without, say, an average ilevel of 200, then will the "average" raid group require something like full 210 to be able to down it? In which case, wouldn't that make the gear you receive from the 4th floor itself pretty damned obsolete right out if the gate? My static is pretty good (last wave of AS2 ATM despite some RL setbacks), but we're far from "first" material, and if the gear bar is set really high for incredibly skilled progression statics than I worry this will be a big demotivator for us.
As several in this thread have pointed out, this is artificial content life extension, nothing more. The devs are basically thumbing their noses at groups who previously demonstrated that skill > gear.
It's not apologist to enjoy something.
He just doesn't agree with you because your opinion isn't universal. And that's true for every point you made in your post.
I know, I know. It's hard to believe. But people can actually genuinely disagree with you.
I wish i could ask "Hironobu Sakaguchi" what he thinks about that...
Dont we play a "game" to have fun?
Just when was "waiting" on something ever be "fun"?
Can you fight the last boss of any rpg ever in history with the gear you got at the beginning of the game?
When in doubt, assume sarcasm
