    mine doesnt have that is it because i have the steam version of the game?

    No that doesn't make any difference (just checked my FFXIV from Steam to confirm). Steam accounts have an extra option for Steam Payment, but they still have the "Add Game Time Card" option.

    After logging in to the Mogstation it's on that first page in "Service Account Status". However maybe you have multiple service accounts and your characters/game is on another one and your default one doesn't have a game key applied? If so on that same page you need to select the correct service account (the green section of the page) and then the option should appear.
